There were 12 volumes of Acta entomologica Lituanica published from 1970 to 1994 jointly by the Institute of Zoology and Parasitology of the Academy of Sciences of Lithuanian SSR and Lithuanian Entomological Society - Lithuanian branch of All-Union Entomological Society (vol.1-9) and by the Institute of Ecology of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences and Lithuanian Entomological Society (vol. 10-12).
